GUITAR SERVICE & RATES
EGW services both electric and acoustic guitars; even the occasional banjo or autoharp. Utilizing 25+ years of industry experience, I commit to caring for your instruments like my own to keep you and your guitars center-stage where you belong.
My motto is simple: If I wouldn’t gig it, it’s not ready. Your guitar is an extension of you. It should play like it.
Below is a non-comprehensive list of commonly sought services as well as important service-related info.

Hourly rate
Most services are not billed hourly. I believe in outcome-driven pricing. There are exceptions. Complex repairs such as complete rewires or electronic diagnostics, headstock and neck breaks... use your imagination. If something is going to be billed hourly, I will communicate that upfront - or upon identification that it becomes necessary - and before further work is performed. That rate is $100 per hour.

Fees and Payment Methods
Parts and tax will be added to service charges below. Prices below are on a per instrument basis. Unless otherwise specified at time of service, guitars will be strung with S.I.T. strings for services requiring new strings.
In order to combat rising costs-of-doing-business and pass along that savings, EGW has transitioned to cash only service and repair transactions. Yes: EGW reports all revenue, pays taxes, and is in good standing with Uncle Sam. Don't even ask.

No-shows and late cancellations incur a $50 fee. If you need to reschedule, just do it more than 24 hours in advance of your scheduled appointment.
